Second-year quarterback Marcus Mariota has had an up-and-down year so far for the Titans. He seemed to finally get things going last week against the Dolphins when he threw for three touchdowns, albeit with just 163 yards passing, as the Titans picked up a 30-17 win.
This week, the Titans returned home to face the Browns and Mariota picked up right where he left off last week on the team’s opening drive of the game. He started things off by showing off his speed with a 41-yard dash through the Browns defense to get the Titans into Browns territory.
Then, Mariota gave his team the lead with a perfect strike to wide receiver Rishard Matthews from 11 yards out.
