The term ‘unbelievable’ is thrown around often when it comes to catches around the NFL, but this 32-yard touchdown catch by the Saints’ Michael Thomas is truly deserving of that adjective.

On first-and-10 from the 49ers 32 yard line, Drew Brees launched a pass down the right sideline for Thomas, who was well covered by Tramaine Brock, but that didn’t matter.

The level of concentration here by Thomas is simply stunning. He manages to get a hand on the ball even though it basically hits Brock in the back, and then manages to keep his focus on the ball and catch it while falling to the ground while making sure he stays in bounds as well.

Impressive stuff.

This is a true catch of the year candidate.
