The Cleveland Browns own the first and fourth overall picks in the NFL Draft and are expected to use one of them – likely the first – on a quarterback.

Who will they take, you ask? Time will tell, but who they will take and who they should take are two completely different things.

“I think that the best quarterback fit for them in terms of the weather and everything else, to me, if I were to give you who I think they’re going to take – not who I think should be the pick – it would probably be Josh Allen,” CBS Sports NFL Draft analyst and Draft Nasty founder Corey Chavous said on Taz & The Moose. “From a wether perspective, I think he’s the quarterback that best fits the mold. When you have Tyrod Taylor, do those two players match? I think Josh Allen is plenty mobile enough that whatever offense you construct, particularly with the fact that you’re going to have a lot of bootlegs and things where you’re getting outside the pocket, he can do all of those things well. I don’t think there’s too much of a skill-set mismatch with him and Tyrod Taylor if for some reason Taylor couldn’t play and he had to play.”

Allen, however, is not the top quarterback on Chavous’ board. Lamar Jackson is.

“For me, that’s the No. 1 quarterback,” said Chavous, who played in the NFL from 1998 to 2008. “I think he’s a potentially transformational talent. When you’ve got somebody that can do as many different things and open up the playbook like he can, it has to be exciting for an offensive coordinator that’s willing to try to match that skill set. I’m just as exciting about Josh Rosen, too. Both of those guys are really close for me with the final grade. Josh Rosen and Lamar Jackson both, to me, are the top two quarterbacks in the class."
