It remains to be seen where Deshaun Watson will land, but the Carolina Panthers are emerging as a possibility. Watson sharing a backfield with Christian McCaffrey would be downright frightening for NFL defenses, but CMC isn’t getting caught up in the potential hype just yet.
“I don’t focus on that stuff,” McCaffrey said on The DA Show. “I’m not the GM, I’m not the head coach – so for me, all I know is who’s on my team right now. My job is to put my body in the best position it can be in to be there for my team. I don’t focus on the rumors or anything that’s not to be true. That’s kind of where I stand on all that stuff.”
